I like whats hes done so far. I think when he gets used to his bullpen hell make better decisions later on in the season, in late situations. I like Hargrove a lot.

Hargrove is obviously learning his team right now. He should have not let Thornton in for more than he has thrown Saturday. He did good enough for three innings. He shouldn't have stayed after that. Also Thornton was not the guy that he should have used in the fifth inning against the Twins last week.
Well Thornton was a starter in Tacoma, but hasnt dont that since the middle of last year, well in Seattle at least. im surprised he didnt last 3 innings.

I was calling for Thornton to be pulled after that double. I knew he was out of gas. That is the only move I have really questioned him on. We should be 5-2 if it wasn't for 2 game costing errors, so I think he is doing pretty well.

Circular logic aside, Mr Mims, you have yet to provide a single credible reason why you are, in fact, hot.
Ignoring the 4 runs in 4 innings that he gave up, check out Jorge Campillo's line from last night. 10 K's in 4 innings?! Wow. I assume Felix is going tonight?
Felix did go on the mound last night

I am starting to think Joel Piniero is a bust. I hear he was going to be a real thing, but he is as bad as Kyle Lohse.
Unlike Kyle Loshe, he isnt coming of an array of injuries either. I wouldnt completely write him off as a bust yet. But hes certainly not the Ace were looking for.

Get the antacids when Eddie G is on the mound. I watch that hombre pitch for the Twins over the years and this guy literally drove me nuts when he was closing games. In Game 5 of the ALDS three years ago, I had to go outside and take a long walk just so I can clear my mind. I couldn't see him pitch that game. He almost blew that game, but he came through against the A's.Originally Posted by Porter99
