Hernandez allows 2 Hits and K's 8 in 3-0 Win over Round Rock
Felix Hernandez had by far his best start of his season. Going 7 innings hes allowed just a measly double and single. Striking out 8 batters in the process. If He keeps that up he and Campillo will be in the M's rotation by Mid June.

Hernandez needs to come this year if the Mariners desperately need fannies in the seats at Safeco Field after witnessing lot of empty seats this year.
If he keeps pitching like that, he might be up very soon. Boone kinda brought it up in yesterdays News-Tribune.

Seriously, I gurantee that we would average probably at least 2k more on days that Felix starts, the hype of this phenom has been around for 2 years now, and he has just torn through our system. His K/BB wasn't beautiful in his first few starts, but 8/1, I sure as hell ain't complaining. Porter, do you know how his slider is coming along?
His slider is beginning to look better than earlier this season. But is the CHANGE UP thats been devestating hitters this season.

He goes again tonight against Albuquerque.
Go Felix!
Tacoma starter Felix Hernandez was knocked out in the second inning, taking a hard grounder off the left ankle, and the Rainiers went on to lose to Albuquerque, 5-2. Hernandez has a contusion and is questionable for his next start.
Dammit.
He needs this. No reason to rush him since the Mariners aren't going to win anyway this year.
