Griffey Jr has yet to have someone vote against him. ARod beat Randy Johnson in surprising fashion winning 9-4.

Arod would have a better shot if he had Ichiro in the Semis. but KGJr had a longer sustained career as a Mariner.

Mariners...It gotta be A-Rod.
If you stretch them out beyond seattle i would go AROD. but as a Mariners Griffey is #1 in almost every major offensive stat imaginable...what ever he doesnt own, EDGAR does.

Yeah, Griffey was better for the time he was here.

Circular logic aside, Mr Mims, you have yet to provide a single credible reason why you are, in fact, hot.
Griff, easily
Griffey gets it
Alex Rodriguez, if he stayed at SS, would have been the best to ever play the position and he could still be one of the greatest players ever. However, with Rodriguez running to the cash pile in Texas and Griffey staying for his prime there, well, I have to take KGJ.

Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor.
Griffey was with a doubt in my mind, the greatest hitter in the 90's, he put together 6 or 7 MVP caliber seasons with us. He was truely a phenom and at a time seemed like a pretty safe to bet to shatter Hank Aaron's record. He is also in my mind the prototypical 5 tool player (but I guess the same thing could be said for A-Rod). If for nothing else, vote for him based on the play in the '95 ALDS.
