Never for a second thought I would be wrong
I wasn't wrong either when I said they upgraded crap with a dirty rock
But you were dead wrong saying I sounded like PFF The M's improved at catcher and while overpaid, "No Stick" Olivo was their biggest stick!
That's relative to the crap he was surrounded by, much like pff pointing out Jason Bartlett as a big improvement because his past "success" looked good relative to the padres offense.
Saying "Olivo is an upgrade over what they had last year" is nothing close to saying "The Padres look better on paper". One was rational, the other was ludicrous! I was right. You were right, just not in your comparison of PFF Can't believe you are taking this so far
