Asked Friday if his preference was to allow a prospect all the time he needs to develop, or throw them to the wolves, so to speak, manager Mike Hargrove said, "I don't think you should throw anybody to the wolves, because the wolves are going to win more times than not.
"With any good, young talent, especially talent you think has a chance to be really, really good, I think you need to allow them a chance to defend themselves," Hargrove addded. "If you don't, you are doing the player, the fans and the team a disservice."
