Feel free to add your two cents worth.
I'll say Tomo Ohka. This guy should still have some upside. He's been around enough to be considered a veteran. And, it would be interesting to see how he would work with Kenji.

The guy we should have acquired was Barry Zito.
Tomo Okha can be good at times, but im tired of getting middle of the rotation veterans. I want a bonafide #2 starter.

I agree with porter on this one, we have to get a big time ace
We have the Ace. We need the #2 to compliment King Felix.Originally Posted by olypride09

And I don't think Jeff Weaver solves those problems.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
Ah, give me something clever to say here.

One-year deal doesn't hurt. He was good in the WS.
But I agree we definitely should've made a stronger pursuit at a big-time SP.
Welcome to the forums, Sound.
We should have made a stronger pursuit at the deadline.

Zito would have been nice. I don't think Bavasi would have paid that much for him... He should have also at least CONSIDERED Dice-K or even Igawa. And he should have kept Doyle. Oh well.
It would be interesting to see who you guys would want now that free agency is over. Who would it be to grace your biggest need?
