    Red Sox Sweep!

    Fri. 08/25: SEA 6, BOS 0
Former reliever Jake Woods tossed five scoreless innings to notch his first big-league victory as a starter. Jose Lopez, Raul Ibanez and Kenji Johjima each recorded two hits to pace Seattle's 11-hit attack on Friday night.
    Sat. 08/26: SEA 4, BOS 3
Adrian Beltre hit a solo home run to right field to tie the game in the eighth inning and then pinch-hitter Ben Broussard lofted a sacrifice fly to center field to bring home Raul Ibanez with the winning tally.
    Sun. 08/27: SEA 6, BOS 3
The Mariners completed a three-game sweep of the Red Sox for the first time in 17 years thanks to the efforts of starter Cha Seung Baek, who didn't allow a hit until the sixth inning, and Raul Ibanez, who belted a grand slam in the bottom of the fifth inning.
