Full StorySEATTLE -- A knock on the door at his Tacoma apartment Wednesday morning started one of the most memorable days of Shin-Soo Choo's career.
The 22-year-old outfielder opened the door, saw Tacoma Rainiers manager Dan Rohn and trainer Rob Nodine, and imagined the worst.
"I thought I had been released, or traded," Choo said.
He was wrong on both counts.
Article also mentions that Snelling is back (and he is hitting .438 in 16 at bats), but Choo might have been the safter choice, although he has tore through the system a little fast. But, he was impressive during the spring so maybe he can hit at this level now, but he'll be back in Tacoma soon enough.
