Giants had a great battle today with the Friars and blew it in the ninth to later lose in ten. This game featured our promising rookie Matt Cain throwing six strong innings, Randy Winn hitting one in the Cove, a Barry Bonds striekout and a blown save. You also got to see the Padres famous Triple A guy, Sean Burroughs, be a hero. Giants blew this one and probably blew their chances of a playoff berth if they can't recover.
