Schmidt got the win last night that sent the Giants into third place in the division for the first time in a good goddamn while. Schmidt struck out 10 in only 6.3 innings. He gave up three wins but looked dominant at times. Ray Durham provided the offense going 2-4 with 4 RBI. Ray had a terrible start but is looking good with a .300 average and 11 homers. He might be worth keeping. Benitez earned his 10th save of the year as Eyre did a great job setting him up once again. I wish we could have had Armando all year because we could be right in the thick of things as the Giants have blown 20 saves this year.
