    Giants Giants claim Jose Mijares

    Giants acquired Jose Mijares off waivers and will report tomorrow! Giants desperately needed some bullpen help and added the lefty. He has a 2.56 ERA with 8.6 K/9 and 3.0 BB/9 in 38 2/3 innings this year and is under control through 2014 so he will help replace Affeldt after this season.

    I'm digging it! Hopefully he fits in well. He is supposed to give the Giants the option of using Affeldt more in save situations. Affeldt really isn't a lefty specialist anyway.
