Giants option down Whiteside and Christian and called up Shane Loux and activated Hector Sanchez off the DL. Giants lost last night but they deserved to! It wasn't pretty!

Giants pull off the three game sweep of the Rockies on the road and now head to St. Louis. Wish I could go but I'm crazy busy!! Nothing like a trip to Coors to get the bats going!

Giants losing to the Cards 5-2 right now. Cain was left in the game with the bases loaded and two outs but over 100 pitches and depleting stuff. Bochy should have yanked him but left him in to face a batter who was 3-3 off of him. Posey hit a HR to stay white hot and Pagan hit one as well.

Giants just raped the Cards 15-0 Hopefully they take the series tomorrow!

Well you'll have Bumgarner on the mound, and he's coming off a respectable start against the Rockies. I think the Giants will get this series, provided Bumgarner can keep the cutter going.

Great having you back HCG!! I definitely like having Bum on the mound today! Posey has been unreal in the second half. Numbers that just make you drool!!

Well the Giants were essentially silenced today. Wainwright held you guys to five hits and one run in seven innings (7 Ks to boot). Honestly, Bumgarner pitched well too, three runs in six innings with 7 Ks too, with the one exception being that hanging cutter to Beltran. Tough game, good series.

Giants are currently down 2-0 to the Rockies in the bottom of the sixth. Lincecum is at 95 pitches right now (56 strikes), with three walks, two K's, and both runs earned.

G-men win 9-3. Posey continues his dominance: 2-4 with a two run shot in the third. And Cain finally gets the run support he so deserves. Those two are quite the dynamic duo.

Back to what actually matters, Giants took 2 of 3 from the Rockies. Another series win against the teams they should beat. Posey remains white hot this second half and is really carrying this team like we have all wanted him to. He should definitely win Comeback Player of the Year as well as a possible Silver Slugger. Pence finally came through with a crucial clutch HR so maybe the pressure will be taken off a bit. I have been impressed with Mijares as well. Now the Giants face a tough Washington team so hopefully the Giants get another series win!
