Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.

I think this pretty much puts to bed any Lincecum Trade Rumors.
Not necessarily. Sanchez isn't that good anyway.

I feel like it's a win for San Fran if Melky is more 2011 than any other year, even if Sanchez is healthy. Monster if. Sanchez could get mutilated in the AL.

He's in AL Central though in pitchers park... KC sold high on a guy they didn't have room for... Huge win for KC
I don't see how it's a huge win for KC. KC got two lefties with control problems. Sanchez has always been a headcase and walks absolutely kill his game. He had a good 2010 despite leading the league in walks. If he's not striking people out, those baserunners come back to haunt him and he's not mentally tough enough to battle his way through it. I would have preferred Cain over Melky but if Melky can come close to his 2011, the Giants should be in good shape. We still have Torres which is a nice backup plan. Giants will lose a step defensively but hopefully he can steal more bases at a higher rate than he did in KC. He also needs to learn to walk more but that won't happen in SF sadly. I don't mind the trade at all since the Giants got a CFer for Sanchez whose stock was at an all-time low.
Isn't Sanchez due a hefty amount via arbitration soon?
He is projected to make $5.2 million in arbitration while Melky is due to make $4.4 million so the Giants save close to a million.
