    Giants NLCS Rematch Part II

The Giants host the Phillies for four games and they are fortunate enough to miss Halladay but do have to face Lee, Hamels and Oswalt, Oswalt first game since going on the DL. The Giants will also have a pitcher making his first start after missing time on the DL with Sanchez returning and pitching on Friday. A lot has changed since a week ago when the Phillies and Giants last played. The Giants traded for Beltran and the Phillies added Hunter Pence so that makes this series even more exciting. The Giants haven't been playing well so all I am hoping for is a split.

DeRosa was activated from the DL and Belt was sent down. I give DeRosa ten days before he's back on the DL again.

Cliff Lee shut down the Giants and the Phillies won 3-0. MadBum gave up just two ER but the Giants could muster any situational hitting. Hard to believe, right? Giants aren't playing the kind of baseball I thought they were after getting Beltran.

Yet another loss for the Gmen, an asswhooping 9-2. The game featured a terrible outing by Sanchez and the world's weakest bench clearing "brawl". A pathetic series so far for the defending champs.

Giants lose another one making that three in a row as Hamels shut down the Giants to win 2-1. Now time for the sadness and alcohol to pour over me.

You were expecting somebody as thin-skinned as Victorino to put up a real fight?

Giants avoid the sweep today and remain in first. Lincecum stepped it up and acted like the true ace he is. My question is how does Keppinger, the #2 hole hitter, go 4-4 and have no runs scored? Fucking pathetic!
