Dodgers in our house for 3

The Giants have employed World Series level security for this series so we don't have another Bryan Stow. The Giants have won the last 5 of 6 against the Dodgers at home so hopefully this trend continues. Tonight's game will be a tough one since we are facing Kershaw. We have Bumgarner on the bump so it will be a battle of the southpaws.

Giants had a nice little moment before the game about respecting the rivalry and not being violent then Kershaw dominated us. Dodgers have owned our ass so far in 2011.

I thought it was nice that the Giants officially dedicated the game to Bryan Stow. I'm sure Bryan would have appreciated the 6-1 loss.

Yeah definitely wasn't smart to dedicate the game when facing Kershaw. Tonight's game would have been better but Game 1 of the series and the ceremony beforehand was the bigger picture.

Lincecum wasn't pretty tonight but the Giants got the win. Wilson looked great tonight finally attacking hitters instead of trying to nibble around the corners. When he nibbles, he gets in trouble and that's always been his problem. Posey had a three hit night and two RBI and Rowand was 2-4 with a RBI himself. Giants needed this one.

Giants take the series and move to .500 on the year. Another hard fought game with Sandoval and Fontenot going deep and Wilson getting back to back saves. Sanchez looked good except for when he pitched to the #8 hitter with a runner on second for no reason. Good win, good series!
