While some fans of teams this late want their team to lose so they can get better draft picks, I want to see the young guys playing their hearts out trying to play the role of spoiler. The Giants have done just that. Giants have just swept the Dbacks and two things have happened in the past two days, Wilson has blown both games and Velez has won both games in the last at bat. Wilson cost Zito and Hennessey wins. Amazingly both did well and Wilson blew it in the ninth. Velez won yesterday's game with a ninth inning RBI single and today he drove in all four runs including the game winning triple. Giants are showing that they want to play and win. Randy Winn has kept it going all year and now has a .315 BA. He has been hitting leadoff a lot lately and Bochy better be taking notice but hopefully he's not back next year. These young guys are playing with heart and I rather see this team go out fighting than just lie down and hope for the top pick. Giants are going to get a good pick regardless. Remember, the Giants got Lincecum with the 10th pick.
