. You just knew they were going to be bad but with good pitching, things can happen.

Which is why I didn't think the Padres would be this bad.

I had no idea Jake would get hurt, CY would get hurt and underperform when he's not hurt, that the bullpen would fall apart, and.....well, yeah.

But I knew the Padres offense was going to be extremely weak which is why I picked them to be so bad. So don't say NO ONE predicted them to be bad. Can never predict injuries but are aware they will happen. Peavy is still having a great year despite missing time.
