Lewis doubles and scores Burriss easily. Lewis really needed that hit. And he got it. 1-0 Giants.

Lewis with a RBI double! That's his second opposite field hit.

Zito is now up to four innings and Molina gunned down Tejada at second.

Zito still has it going through five! He issued his first walk in th 5th. The defense is really playing well behind him this game, something they haven't been.

Ha! My internet went out right before Berkman blasted one to tie it up 3-3. At least Zito is not in line for a loss. Zito did a lot better going six innings and giving up three. Its 4-3 now as Chulk gave up back to back singles to start the 7th. RBI groundout makes it 4-3 Astros.

5-3 now in the T-8th with the bases loaded and one out. Valdez loaded them up after a double from Berkman (his third hit of the game), a IBB to Lee and a HBP on Wiggington. RBI single to right from Cruz Jr. makes it 5-3. Giants better hope Valverde melts down again.

Yabu throws it away trying to pick a guy off first with Bowker not holding him on, two runs score. Yabu, you dickhead!!! 7-3 now! Giants need a miracle.

Oswalt just kept getting better and better as the game went on. Its 7-3 in the 9th and I am going to bed.

Yikes the Giants let that one get away from them last nite. Hopefully they can rebound with Cain on the mound tonite. He hasn't been as dominant as he has in the past, but if the Giants can get a few runs early then I think that they can pull off a win. But Zito wasn't all that bad. He's taking baby steps towards that first win. Doesn't seem to far off in the future.

I expected the loss in that game but after we started so well I was willing to believe. Too much Oswalt as he kept getting nastier. 12 runs scored in Zito's eight starts. Not good.

12 runs in 8 starts? That's it? Wow...no wonder he keeps losing. Maybe the guys figure that they're gonna lose no matter what, so they don't bother trying. But that's just shallow. Either that or Zito is just one unlucky pitcher.

Durham gets the start tonight after Bochy said he was a day or two away. Maybe even he is tired of Velez.
