    Giants Phillies@San Francisco 5/9-5/11

The Giants are coming off a embarrassing stint in Pittsburgh when they were swept in three games. Hopefully the Giants can rebound against the Phillies who took 2 of 3 to start the month of May. It was a great, hard fought series but things just didn't go our way. Let's hope the Retard doesn't bat Velez leadoff anymore and put guys with OBP's over .300 in the top two spots.

    Game One
    - Cole Hammels (3-3, 3.10 ERA) vs Pat Misch (0-0, 5.40 ERA). Misch had a tough time in his last start which just so happened to be against the Phillies. Misch gave up four earned runs in just four innings of work in that game. Hammels gave up four runs in six innings pitched.

Game Two- Jamie Moyer (2-2, 4.15 ERA) vs Tim Lincecum (4-1, 1.49 ERA). Lincecum went six strong against the Phillies in his last game and gave up four runs which none were earned. Lincecum has not fared well against the Phillies so his is due for a good game. Moyer is 4-5 with a 2.73 ERA lifetime against the Giants.

Game Three- Adam Eaton (0-1, 5.63 ERA) vs Jonathan Sanchez (2-2, 4.74 ERA). Sanchez was lit up in his last start giving up seven earned runs in just four and a third innings. He walked three batters and was all over the place. He will have to settle himself down against this good lineup and hopefully be affective against the lefties Utley and Howard. Eaton gave up six runs in just four innings in his last start.

I would like to see a lineup like this:
    1. Lewis-LF
    2. Winn- RF
    3. Aurilia- 3B
    4. Rowand- CF
    5. Molina-C
    6. Ortmieier-1B
    7. Burriss-SS
    8. Velez-2B

Burriss and Velez belong lower in the order if they are to play. They aren't good hitters and their speed can be useful with Lewis and Winn hitting if they get on base. Ortmeier is hitting .295 and should be playing over Bowker.

You got your wish - Velez and Burriss are in the bottom of the order. And hey, it's the reunion between Pedro Feliz and ATT Park/all the fans. Not to mention the return of Jimmy Rollins. Won't this be fun?

Not quite sure who'll get the best of this series...I'll be back to make my predictions in about an hour.

You know me now eh? Castillo batting second is a little unsettling but he has had success there this season. Rowand is still batting fifth too

    I wouldn't say I know you...you're just very predictable.

Ten minutes 'till game time...I can see the stadium from my apartment and it looks like it's starting to fill up. Still not nearly as much as when you-know-who was here.

Thanks. Hope the uh, hangover goes away soon.

57 degrees at first pitch...man it seems a lot colder than that. Three up, three down. So far so good for Misch.

Lewis was dominated with three straight fastballs for the strikeout,

I thought I'd keep the windows open because I can hear the PA announcer Renel, but the draft is too much.

Yeah no cold air for the woman with strep throat. Phillies strike first, 1-0 in the 2nd.

I actually like cold weather, just not when I'm sick.

Six up, six down for the Hamels.
