Re: Cardinals@San Francisco
I don't care what anyone says that was one hell of a ball game. The Giants are playing much better than anyone thought they would. Hats off the Cain and Bowker. And what a game for Lewis. He is now the leading man to take Roberts job even when Roberts is ready to go. I think go for Roberts will be a move to another team.

Re: Cardinals@San Francisco
yes indeed. great ballgame. thought cain might've finally received the run support that he's been needing. but, as jeanie zealasko said, "then the bullpen happened." but good for the giants in fighting tough. happy to see castillo continue to produce despite feliz having a great start in philly. and i think the giants are starting to get the picture, like i've been saying for the past year and a half that davis + lewis = legitimus.

I cannot find how that was a good ballgame. Yes the Giants didn't give up but Bochy and the bullpen blew it hard!! Sloppy baseball.
Today's game is going much better. It's 4-2 and Bowker went deep again!! This kid has a sweet left handed swing. Lincecum has a RBI single. Velez is 0-2 and hasn't been hitting lately. .200 average on the season.

Velez comes through thanks to my comment He just hit a 2 run single to make it 6-2.

Re: Cardinals@San Francisco
Lincecum has 11 K's in 6 IP and is likely done for the day as he has 110 pitches. He allowed just one walk. Cain and Lincecum are going to have to work on their pitches counts if the Giants are to have any success. They cannot rely on this bullpen to hold any kind of lead. I hope Valdez gets his shot today unlike yesterday.

Nice win San Fran. Got the split. That kid Bowker is really something. He'll be interesting to watch, especially if he keeps playing this way.

Its going to be hard for Bowker to find any playing time when Rowand gets healthy. Lewis is playing great and Winn is doing his usual thing. Four RBI for Bowker in one day is pretty special.

He is expected back tomorrow. Rowand has bruised ribs. If only Bowker could play first base.
