Giants leave the bases loaded. That threat was just handed to them, but they couldn't capitalize on it. What a shame.

Giants lose,7-3, Zito walked 5 batters in the 4th which scored 2 runs, which tied the game up, Giants again did not come through with bases loaded, Cincy did, which was the difference, a grandslam by Philips.

Harang was able to overcome 6 walks to get the win. Man that guy never give up. Zito lasted just 5 innings and got a ND when Correia allowed that grand slam to Phillips.

Ok so it's 8-4, San Fran lead in the top of the ninth. Mr. Fred Lewis hits a grand slam. Man, this kid is amazing!

Matt Cain sure has had the short stick of the runs when he pitched. What is his record now 3-9 with an good ERA of 3.53.

It was the headlines in the sports section...along with stuff about the Warriors. But I think, actually I know that Cain should have a better record than the one he currently has. He always pitches on the days where the Giants are playing poor defensively or they can't score any runs. Hopefully Cain will have a better second half.

Cain had a strong second half last season so we can only for another one (even though he has had a good first one). Fred Lewis with another GS and Durham, Aurilia go back to back. Great win.

Fred Lewis has some pop in his bat for kinda a little guy.

He's 6'2", 190 lbs. Tall, but thin. A lanky-type ballplayer, but like you said he has some pop.

He could be a future star fielder for the Giants. And they sure need some good young offensive players to start to emerge.
