Oh yeah. The only young guys I can think of are Frandsen, Cain, Lincecum, Lewis, and a few relief pitchers. Most of their starters are what you might call "old".

I forgot about Fransden. He has some promise.
He does. He can play almost any infield position.
Ok so after a rain delay, it's 1-0 Cinci, top of the 2nd.
If I had a choice, Durham would have only been signed to a one year deal with Frandsen starting in '08. Durham wanted two so he got two. Nate Schierholtz is a better hitter than Lewis and has more promise IMO. There are other guys like Sanchez, Misch (just called up), Wilson has promise and Taschner could be something useful. Frandsen might have to play third next year as there aren't many FA's on the market. I would like Blalock to hit doubles all day long in SF.
Being versitaile is very important. I have seen him fill in for Durham at 2B and he looks pretty comfortable around the bag.
Going back to the game, it's 2-0, Cinci lead after pitcher Bronson Arroyo hits a homer to left.
Arroyo is a pitcher who really knows how to hit.
Oh yeah. Him and Zambrano, man, they're great.
It's now 4-0, Cinci lead, bottom of the 3rd.
Who is pitching for the Giants? Oh it is Morris who is getting lit up. 5-0 now.
Wow I didn't expect Morris to get lit up like this

Morris 6 innings, 6 ER, 7 hits, 6 K's and 3 BB's.
Now it is 6-3 Reds
Come on Reds help the Rockies gain a 1/2 on their lead over San Fran

Giants lose after another piss poor outing from Morris. I knew his hot start was too good to be true. Cannot believe we lost a series to the worst team in baseball.
One of the worst teams in baseball losing a series to the worst team in baseball, that's rough as I was saying the same thing as the Reds plummeted below the Nationals in a series we all expected to be the beginning of the turnaround.... yet it just got worst from there.
The chase for the record is likely going to put some strain on the team, I would expect them to pick it up once Bonds reaches 756.

Even though we lost this series, the one big positive that came out of this was the Reds fans saw probably the last time Bonds and Griffey take the field, probably two of the best players on this era, while there still performing at a great level.
