I am not terribly shocked by this but much rather see Feliz in the 8 spot until he can prove he deserves to hit higher. This does give us speed at the bottom of the order making it easier on the pitcher to move him over."Randy Winn is having an interesting ride. The Giants traded for him two seasons ago to bat leadoff. Now it appears his principal spot in the order will be eighth. The team has a leadoff man in Dave Roberts and does not want to bat catcher Bengie Molina eighth, fearing his lack of speed will get him thrown out at second on sacrifice attempts. So Winn appears destined for No. 8, except for games that Roberts does not play."
