The only fun the Giants have left is a chance of eliminating the Dodgers from the postseason. The Giants could have a chance to knock out the Cards if they need that makeup game. Giants have the hated Dodgers for three and they will be intense but how intense is the question. Lowry is pitching the first game and will likely be shit so that will kill the intensity.

SF: LHP Noah Lowry (7-10, 4.12 ERA)
In last Saturday's contest against the Brewers at Miller Park, he gave up six runs over the first two innings. In his previous outing at Colorado, Lowry lasted only 1 1/3 innings, yielding nine runs.

LAD: LHP Hong-Chih Kuo (1-5, 4.86 ERA)
Kuo got the nod for this assignment off his clutch start on Sunday against Arizona. Kuo not only has better numbers against the Giants than Chad Billingsley, he has 65 strikeouts in 54 2/3 innings and a 2.59 ERA as a starter.

Player to watch
Moises Alou has proven lately that when he's healthy, he's still among the best hitters in the game. This season, he's leading the Giants with a .303 average.

The Giants got swept and didn't do shit! Another disappointing season for the Giants but now the season is over and Sabean can concentrate on what he has to do this offseason to make this team better.
