Giants @ A's 5/19 - 5/21

Tonight the Giants open a three game series with the A's. This will be a very difficult series with one of the best teams in the AL. The Giants will have to play at a very high level if they are going to have a chance to win this series, and will need all the support they can get from there fans. Let all hope for the best, and hope they can win the first battle by the Bay in regular season this year.

Unbelievable that the batboys bring out "specially marked baseballs" every time Bonds comes to the plate. Jesus.

If it weren't for Bonds being at 713, there's no way that Bonds would swing at a 3-0 pitch so far out of the strike zone, especially in a 1-0 ballgame! He just wants this whole thing over with as fast as possible.

Wow. Awesome showing by Huston Street to strike out Bonds. Looks like Bonds's bat was a little slow there, he was behind on two of the pitches (foul-tipped a fastball that he normally would have drilled into right-center field).
