Nice attempt at dodging the question, but since you brought it up, I hope A.J. doesn't get suspended for being suckerpunched, which was basically his whole role in the brawl. He did what he was supposed to do on that play (run over the catcher blocking the plate), and for some reason Barrett took it personally. Not a surprising reaction coming from a representative of an organization that can't take the blame for their failures.

No, I agree. I think Barrett will get the supension. I saw nothing wrong with what A.J. did. The guy was blocking the plate -- he's fair game. Just sayin', he took a big right hand from that punk.
Dam8610...If you make over a team as much as he has to there will be mistakes. However for the most part he is great. JMO
Show me a GM who never made a mistake on a trade.
There have been some beauties over the year from some great GM's and they aren't a candidates for being burned at the stake! Either is Sabean

Excellent point. Nobody is 100% right on these things. Sometimes they look like geniuses and other times idiots. On balance Sabean has done a very good job IMO.
Why didn't you show the Jesse Foppert and Torreabla for Randy Winn trade? That one wroked pretty damn well. The Williams/Aardsma for Hawkins was an even trade as no one has really done shit.
There are alot of trades that went both ways. But Sabean is willing to take the chance and he is right more than he is wrong. That is what makes him one of the best!!!
