i personally think he was solid, not great, not horrible, but solid
4 runs, 7 innings pitched, plus our offense didn't give him any help either u know, and it was 2-1 in the 6th inning before greene hit that HR off of him

btw that fan who threw the syringe at bonds should have gotten kicked out of the game
the crap bonds has to deal with its stupid, mcgwire n sosa didn't have to deal with this kind of shit

Gotta say I agree. I'm not a fan of the guy but that was a truly classless act and yes, that fan should be banned from Bark Park permanantly. Even more classless was ESPN for showing and mentioning it and perpetuating it.

Schmidt failed to impress me topping out at only 93 mph. His location was decent but not much movement on some of those fastballs. Schmidt has got to get back in the 95-96 range.
