    So.. I've been living in a cave for the past 3-4 months or so..

    what have I missed?

    someone fill me in on what has gone down to our beloved Padres! I hear Josh Barfield, Mike Piazza, Mike Cameron, Brazelton and all that stuff.

    What happened to Loretta?!
    Nobody lookin out for nobody
    Maybe we should try and help somebody or be somebody
    Instead of being somebody that makes the news
    So everybody can tweet about it
    And then they start to R.I.P. about it
    And four weeks later nobody even speaks about it.

    Anyways, Loretta was traded for Mirabelli

    This was done prior to the Piazza acquisition and after they realized they weren't going to be able to keep Ramon Hernandez....they needed a catcher and got desperate.

    I, for one, am not too dissapointed in losing Loretta, as it opens the spot for Josh Barfield (who's tearing apart ST right now). I'm just dissapointed that we couldn't get more for him...but it's in the past now.

    As it is, Piazza/Mirabelli isn't too bad of a catching tandem for this year.

    Sadly, those deals meant poor David Ross got traded...4 teams in a year in a half for David...

    ..... the Mirabelli deal wasn't too bad considering he also is tearing up ST....we're now pretty deep at catcher, so long as they don't deal him back to Boston, which is another rumor floating around

    Since you been gone baseball as we all knew it has been totally reorganized.

    The DH was banned, Pete Rose was unbanned, over-paid, over-rated crybabies and repeat substance abusers whether active or retired were also banned, Ban deodorant became the official sponsor of MLB, Bud Selig, or Giles spelled backwards has been forced out of the Commish spot three years early......[WHOO HOO]........Bonds* was exposed and walked away in shame leaving Aaron's recond in tact.....[another WHOO HOO].....the 2005 NL West season was replayed and the Pads still came out on top, and the Pads had an offseason of trading that will make them stand out from all others and run away with the whole enchilada in 2006.......and then I woke up......dammed.....

    haha, no blockbuster didn't go overseas, I've just been busy with work.. I was working a lot, and plus.. spending time with family friends.. and other things that kept me away.

    Anyways, im down to like 2-3 days a week now in preparations of going back to school this summer. S hould be on more now!
