Chan Ho Park struck out seven batters in four innings on Thursday in his first start since returning from the World Baseball Classic. Park, who tossed 10 scoreless innings during the WBC, also gave up six hits, two walks, and three runs. "He was up [in the strike zone] a little bit for Chan Ho," manager Bruce Bochy told the Padres official website. "Watching him in the [WBC], he was consistently down in the zone. For his first start back, he made some great pitches. He had trouble with his breaking ball – he left a few up."
