and no one has pitched a no hitter for San Diego either...i'm more concerned about victories, however. (which we're short on as of late as well )

to be fair, the Dodgers haven't had a cycle since 1970...

I think we have a ballpark and some guys that could hit for the cycle on our team now......be kinda nice and one helluva boost to morale that's for sure
I predict Mark Loretta hits a cycle this year

I think he could do it no doubt. Also congrats on Klesko hitting the ball hard. I always have loved that guy.

If DK thinks Twins fans at this board are jealous of the White Sox, he can always go read this site at:
www.bat-girl.com
This author loves making fun of She-ca-go. She calls them the "***** Sox"
You folks ought to read that site. It's a good read and she is famous in the Twin Cities.

This thread is funny.
1969 thru 2005, 36 years of frustration.....not to be negative or anything......can we please do something different this season? I don't like living with this pit in the middle of my stomach every season......

1998 wasn't frustrating till the very end. 1996 wasn't too bad, and in reality neither was last year (at least not till September)
Anyways, I agree for the most part
On another subject, i'm back in San Diego now. *pats Cable modem*

1984 was great too.....or were you guys not alive yet .......lol........I was there at the games......I saw Garvey's famous homerun.......that was a great season too......problem was that nobody stood a chance against the Tigers that year.....nobody!
I was 4 years old then, don't remember much at all about it.
And the same thing can be said about the 1998 Yankees. Why is it that whenever a San Diego team builds a championship caliber team they seem to run into one of the greatest teams in that sports' history? ('84 Tigers, '94 FourtyNiners, '98 Yankees)

I was born in 84.. so theres really nothing I can do to remember that year. :p
But 98 was frustrating.. we started game 1 SO WELL.. and then came the Yankee comeback and the infamous 2-2 strike 3 pitch by Mark Langston that was called ball 3...
Sorry for not posting much guys, been busy with work!
Nobody lookin out for nobody
Maybe we should try and help somebody or be somebody
Instead of being somebody that makes the news
So everybody can tweet about it
And then they start to R.I.P. about it
And four weeks later nobody even speaks about it.
Good to see you, Kobe. I hope all is well.
I am stunned and damned that Juan Rincon is suspended for illegal substance.
