That's all BS.....it's far too easy to blame a coach for a loss, when he's not on the field making critical errors. Too easy and in this case, which is what we're talking about, it's wrongfully tagged. Marty was NOT the issue this post season, and anyone that truly believes he was IMO knows dicksquat about football....

I pretty much agree with your arguments, I'm just trying to find the silver lining.

It basically boils down to that i'd rather they have kept him, but I understand the reasoning.

Furthermore, if the reports are true of his insisting that they hire his brother for DC are true....i'm a tad relieved.

Yah.....the problem, as we agreed, was timing.......and this timing makes this a terrible move....had they just blown him up at year end, this wouldn't be an issue right now....and I don't think anyone would argue it....but now.....now it's a terrible move

The thing wrong about firing Marty now is the timing of it but if they can hire someone quickly then hopefully we should be okay

The timing sucks because of how close to the combines it is, but it's not as bad as it appears in regards to choices available. There's still plenty of candidates out there.
