    Juan Pierre was available and for around the same amount of money........and I'd rather have Juan Pierre over Dave Roberts every day and twice on Sunday's.....that was also part of my post

    Juan Pierre 2005 Salary: $3,700,000......... and he's only 28........ he's also the prototypcial OFer you would like to have in a ballpark like Petco.......... 200 hits, gap power......triples and doubles monster........speedy.....great bat control.......leadoff hitter....etc......... why didn't we go after him ?
