I can't believe we didn't offer it to Seanez and Fick......especially since we lost Mark Sweeney
me either, especially Rudy.
I guess they may have been affraid that the arbitrators would award him too much with how much relievers are signing for and such. Just a guess

how much could they possibly be awarded .......... minimum innings for Rudy, and Fick deserved whatever he gets ........... I sure hope he stays off of the MLB radar.....he was a great addition to this team........hell both were
Do these teams not have any memory retention from season to season? I mean, if a guy kicked ass for you one season, doesn't it sound to reason they he will do the same the next season? I realize that there is so much more involved however......going back to mid-2004 we have needed a 5th starter. Ummmm, have we ever filled that fifth slot? Not to mention the 4th slot now.....m-e-m-o-r-y- r-e-t-e-n-t-i-o-n-......

If you notice, the big contracts they've picked up via trade are both 1 year deals. There will be a lot of money off the books next offseason

100% agree with ya.........next years crop of FA's should be much better than this year too......... at least all reports say that...........we should have last years 1st rounders ready to show up in the bigs late this year or next year too......two pitching studs.....
And, also more expensive with an entire year appreciation......

Some yes.......some no......but either way we'll have a ton of money to spend next year........ 20M alone from two contracts.........should be great for us......
