Paul LoDuca is drawing interest from the Padres, Diamondbacks and Rockies, while center fielder Juan Pierre is on the wish list of the Cubs and several other clubs.

Man, I'd be stoked if Paulie came to the Pads, he is one of my fave catchers. I was bummed when he left the Dogs as I wasn't able to see him much anymore. Not sure how his offense compares to RRRamon though....The AZ team just sent their catcher, Stinnett to the Spankees.....

I'll always remember Paul LoDuca as the guy who went 4-4 on Brian Lawrence in a complete game shut out against the Dodgers in 2002...in which Lawrence gave up a total of 4 hits...

LoDuca is a good catcher. I'll never understand some Padre fans' complaints about getting someone just because he used to be a Dodger. (not to mention Charger fan complaints about getting someone who used to wear silver and black)

If the guy can help the team win that's all that matters to me. I'd prefer Ramon over LoDuca, but i'd take LoDuca in a heartbeat if we can't get Ramon.

In fact, the fact that he used to be a Dodger makes it BETTER when he helps us beat LA.

Hey padrefan .....yeah, I thought about the same thing but didn't want to be the first one to say it....tag, yer it.....I can hear the Dog fans now.....the Pads taking Dodger leftovers, etc, blah....blah....blah....However, I will say that since Paulie was a Dog fave, they might let up some when it comes to ragging on the Pads about leftovers in this case.....

Leo, IMO its about the rivalry that does or does not exist between them and us....or.....just a reason to rag on us....

Wanna know something weird? I went to post this FUX Sports article on another board and the Pads had been deleted from the list of teams interested in pursuing LoDuca, check it out man. EERIE. Can one assume that the Pads have pulled out of the running for LoDuca? Hmmmm.......
