x 1 million
Yep, Woody is the only pitcher in major league history to give up a bunch of runs in one inning in Coors field.
That definitely is worth a laguh "x 1 million"

What in the **** happened?
Sean Burroughs pitched the 8th inning even though the CBS Boxscore reads:

No......not as bad.......but bad yes.........that score in Petco would have been more like 8-1
I'll take back to back perfect games from Burroughs like the little league WS
Now do you see why I made the NL West rules?
well I for one am glad you hit up the room today, now you know why you stopped coming in......lol
While this is true, starting a thread with nothing more than a laughing face implies that it's a once in a decade type event. It may or may not have been quite as bad in PetCo (but I don't know, I didn't watch the game) That, and i'm always a bit bitter when I see a boxscore like that for the Padres, hence my rhetoric response.Originally Posted by DirtyKash

He's not exactly our best starter. For every crappy Woody start, I can counter with a good Pedro Astacio start...which is much higher than expectations.
That aside, I do know why you started it.

bah........it was Coors Canaveral........and it's not the 20 that they dropped on us that bothers me there........its that we played on the same field, same game and only scored 1 run..........thats the problem.......... out of control scores are a daily even in CO..................but only scoring 1 run..........not ok at all
