You keep assuming that every Padres fan even did that in the first place.

You have a really dumb habit of finding stupid opinions stated by a few and projecting that onto the entire fan base.

Are there Padres fans that berated Manny for his "hustle" comments and that incident in the playoffs who now love him? Sure. Am I or many other Padres fans currently cheering him among those? No. Do they represent the majority? No way of knowing.

But sports fans in general are stupidly fickle when it comes to this kind of stuff. Padres fans are certainly not unique to that.

I don't know what's a worse take from the armchair GMs: that the Dodgers should have jettisoned Justin Turner like he's been just some hanger-on during our WS runs in order to make room to keep Manny, or that Corey Seager should have been the odd man out. Why is this even a thing?
