    Looks like the Yankees get Jabari Blash and were mainly interested in shedding the salary.

    I officially don't hate this deal.

    The Padres mainly liked getting Mitchell for money, it appears

    As it stands right now, there isn't any room for Blash in that crowded outfield. Hopefully the Yankees can somehow get rid of Ellsbury but even then, gotta imagine Blash either starts the year in AAA or he gets included in another trade somewhere else.

    read he's probably headed to Japan. Likely AAA fodder if anything.
