I have to say at least we were active at the trade deadline, even if I don't agree with all the moves, it sure wasn't for the lack of effort. This team is starting to gel again, and that is a direct result of trimming the fat, plugging holes and allowing some of the guys we've been grooming a chance to play everyday. I sure would have liked to see us get that arm we so desperately need especially if Eaton can't go at 100% right now. Other than that Olivo has been a pleasant surprise, of course anything was better than Ojeda, and Randa is starting to get those big hits that we were lacking, and wow having a guy like Loretta at the #5-6 spot......sheesh........ that's not hard to deal with.

All and all and as hard as I am, and will continue to be on, Towers he's sure put together a great team of bench players with a few starters mixed in. Maybe it will be enough.......lets hope. Lets keep these bats going for the rest of the year, and into the playoffs........
