And Olivo homers in his first at bat as a Padre
(or at least I'm pretty sure that was his first at bat as a Padre)

That's more than Ojeda did in his entire padre career ....... lol

Porter and Co. certainly convinced me that Olivo was the worst catcher in baseball. The other No Stick still can't hit.
Sometimes as much as I hate to admit it...from a personal standpoint, trades are good for players. They get a fresh perspective and it seems to be that way for Olivo. I hope he keeps it up.....

dumping Ojeda was never a questionmark in my mind.......... anything would have been an upgrade, and I don't view Olivo as a starter so much as a long term stop gap measure right now.........even if we start him next year to wait for Cotteras to come up that's fine too......... GO OLIVO........ you stud.........hidden gems are there for us to find
Just out of curiosity, anyone know how Ojeda's doing up in Seattle?
As crap as Ojeda was overall, I will always remember him for his clutch game-winning RBI on opening day of PetCo 2004
