holy crap, i've never cheered so loud for a ball 4 in my life. That game was excruciating. I'm a bit irate that Peavy pitched a great game and gets no decision out of it, however.

I love our pitching and we have got to have one of the best BPs in the game....now if we could only get the offense to wake up at PetCo

But Peavy is off to a good start, despite a no-decision, and again the Pads' offense flutters in Petco, after scoring what.. 20 + runs in 2 games in Denver?

It was a hell of a game, and Mark Redman deserves twice as much credit as Peavy. He has very little offense behind him, and half as much talent in his left arm as Peavy in his right, and still pitched one of the best pitchers in the league into a stalemate. Awesome job. Now, Chris Duffy pinch hitting and Rick White from the bullpen...Argh.

247 is too many. I kinda like my Pirates ones a little better. If someone misses the game, they can quickly flip through my recap, and follow the game in their head...

personally, I don't consider 247 to be too many, that means there's ongoing discussion on the game, which is what we want. But, for argument's sake, if it was too many, that's all the more reason to go away from the series thread and into the solitary gameday threads, lol.

I suppose if I just save all the PBP I do in a seperate notepad document, and post it at the end, it would help people that don't watch the game.

I like the ongoing commenting, it just clutters the post if you're not watching, though.
