Stairs has a minor league deal with a major league invite, but it appears he has a very good chance to make Pads roster.
Apparently our buddy has lost 31 pounds this offseason doing a NutriSystem diet.
Padres karma has just shot through the roof for the 2010 season. Stairs has made the playoffs the last 2 years. The streak continues.
So the Padres with Stairs and the Nats with Marquis. Sounds fair...
This is by far the best new of the offseason.

Okay, I guess this is awesome news since the Padres have a NLCS Game 4 to play for or something.
I don't think anybody has an NLCS game 4 to play for right now.

Wonderful news. I just hope he hasn't lost so much weight that he is unrecognizable next to old photos (I really do not want to redesign Che Stairs.)
