Not much of a game, we need to get the run scoring machine back out and soon.

The lineup that worked last night, should have stayed there. If it didn't work tonight, change it tomorrow. I know Adrian is our best defensive 1st baseman, but he's not doing anything for us offensively right now. If you want to insert Adrian back into the lineup, then move Ensberg to 2nd and keep Kouz over at 3rd. Here's how I do it:

    Giles
    Ensberg
    Kouz
    Cameron
    Adrian
    Greene
    Blum
    Bard
    Peavy, Young, Maddux, etc.

Ensberg has had about as much time at 1st as 2nd.........so I can't disagree with that idea

I like the idea of Ensberg at 2nd.

I wish Bud Black liked it as well.

I like the idea too. Can Ensberg play 2nd at this point of his career. He may not have the range and could be a defensive liability.

How about Antonelli? This guy is almost ready. Lets get him up here pronto and go with a youth movement.

Aaron Cook won't be pitching the rubber match as all the Rockies pitchers are liking to get hurt right now. Elmer Dessens is supposed to start for the Rox.

Can you explain what you wrote, I dont understand?

But Ensberg was 5th in the MVP vote a few years ago, not just one. And Ensberg was given away for a reason. I love the guy, glad we got him, but there is a reason he was let go.

So which would you rather have, Ensberg at 2nd, who COULD be a defensive liability, or Marcus Giles who WOULD be a offensive liability.
