Doing better than Barfield at what exactly? Not BA, Runs. RBI or Stolen bases. He's got OBP (barely) and homers. Not exactly doing better.

That's sad ? WTF are you smoking today.......cockroaches or banana peels ?
A .291 average is not that great and neither are those numbers from the rest of the team. Need some smoke to see the truth?
Barfield has a better (overrated) Batting Average
Kouzmanoff has a better OBP
Kouzmanoff has a much better SLG
The above two equates to Kouz having a much better OPS
Barfield has 80 more at bats than Kouz, yet only has 2 more RBIs than Kevin, so yes Kouz is doing better in RBIs
Kouz has more home runs
Barfield has more stolen bases, but nobody expects Kouz to steal.
Yes, Kouz is doing better than Barfield. Even with his atrocious April.

I don't see how he is succeeding with those numbers but ok and no one claimed Barfield to be a power hitter so there goes OPS. A ten point difference in OBP isn't worht mentioning and I will take a guy like Barfield's BA over Kouzmanoff. Overrated but very relevant. I see it as a push really looking over the numbers again.
I got it.
Throw out anything that Kouz is doing better in and leave only what Barfield is doing better in and you draw the desired conclusion.

Since when is batting .291 not good ? Reefer thats now at the top of your dumb shit uttered list......and that's a long list
And who gives a crap about the rest of the team where this conversation is concerned.......it's irrelevant........focus purple haze
you know, if you're going to rely on stolen bases as one of your key factors as to what makes one player better than the other it kind of seems sill to blow off the other player having the better OBP, even if it's not that much bigger.
I mean, you have to get on base if you want to steal.
Barfield gets on base via a fair ball at a slightly better rate than Kouz, but Kouz just plain gets on base at a better rate than Barfield.

No thanks.......been there done that........know how ****ed up the mind gets.......sadly those still using don't......funny thing about denial
That's what it sounds like to me when you blow off the .109 OPS differential on the grounds that "no one claimed Barfield to be a power hitter"
Well, nobody proclaimed him a power hitter, so it doesn't matter how much better Kouz's OPS is?
Sounds to me like you're blowing off stats. And then calling other stats you want to deem relevant as a push.
The only thing Josh has on Kouz is the overrated bating average (and not by that much) and stolen bases.

Defense, BA with RISP and the WHOLE picture made it clear that it was a push. Like I said they both have their stronger skills which made it to me a push. Sorry if you don't like it but tough shit
