Source: RotoWorldPadres signed first baseman Adrian Gonzalez and RHP Clay Hensley to one-year deals.
Despite his strong 2006, Gonzalez is being renewed at just $500 more than the $380,000 minimum. Padres GM Kevin Towers said the team initially offered $391,500, then rejected a counterproposal in which Gonzalez and agent John Boggs asked for $418,000 -- 10 percent more than the minimum. Hensley is getting $392,000.
