    No link as of yet, but it was announced on 1090 that the exercized his option for 2008.

    Padres

    I am drop dead shocked, I figured with Bochy out the door KT would be out the door right on his heels. My only question was, would they pony up to pay off his contract now or wait until it ran out.

    I hope Moore's is right about this, because I think the team was working because of Bochy a lot more than KT. To me, this is a lot like throwing out the clothes and keeping the dirty water you washed them in.

    KT made the deals to get guys like AGon, CY, Bard, Meredith etc......not Bochy......Bochy was just the monkey playing with the toys KT brought in....
