Not defending Bonds....but until they prove he did, and I think he did as well, BUT, until they prove it, he's going to be the record holder IF he does break it until they prove he did take steroids.

Do I think Bonds will be caught eventually? No. My reasoning. He's too big of a star, he makes MLB a lot of money and they would take a HUGE hit if they announced that he used steroids. I think after Bonds is done playing, I think he'll say that he did, because he knows they won't do anything to him.

Lots of slim pickings left. Maybe you could bring back Finley as a bench player, he is left handed and maybe could even fill in at 1B occasionally. Just a thought. If the Padres are interested, maybe they could sign him and then trade him to the Cubs for Jacques Jones. I see the Cubs want Finley on their team. They would need to trade Jones first it said though. What are your thoughts Pads fans?
I'd rather see us bring back Nevin instead of Finley....as much as I don't really like Nevin...he'd be a huge bat off the bench and can back up 1st, 3rd, catcher and the OF if needed....he's far more versitile and still has something left in his bat....I think he also learned some humility after he left here, so it's unlikely that the same headbanging would go on....
I heard Sean Burroughs fell while on a fishing boat in San Diego and sprained his shoulder....lol....they are saying he's certain to start the season at AAA now.....lol.....anyone have a the link to this
