Can Jon Adkins get anyone out at all?
Padres down 8-2, but the Dodgers are down 6-4 as well. Looks like it will be status quo.
Klesko's on deck!

not proud of the game, proud of being in 1st place however.Originally Posted by padrefanforever

it's nice for sure........but we should have a much bigger lead than .5 game right now......the Dodgers are playing along and we're not taking advantage of it....
Losing is never ok in a pennant race even if you remain in 1st.......we could be out of 1st and chasing the WC after tonight.......so don't be too happy
So should the Dodgers. The NL West is crazy these days.Originally Posted by padrefanforever

I was speaking about this specific moment.......we should have beaten them in that final game, putting us 1.5 up, then we won our next game and they lost, so we should have been up 2.5 games and not .5 games....that is what I was referring to....So should the Dodgers. The NL West is crazy these days.
I don't think I had quoted you for saying that, just responded to something that was said....I don't think I ever said it was
...and I was making sure that people didn't get too far ahead of themselves, and that this lead is far from safe or secure....to hell with enjoying it while it lasts.....lets build it up and enjoy clinching it insteadWe could've been out of first by August and looking towards next year by now had things gone differently.

We take the series!
Padres can't take the Pirates lightly...they showed the Dodgers what happens when you do.
