can't win if you can't hit....funny how that seems to work....poor peavy
Peavy was alright last night, but run support wasn't. Hopefully some pop occurs today.
Cain did it again but Peavy did not look bad at all. Cain just has his number this year.
I still don't buy into the "Cain has Peavy's number" concept.
That implies Jake would've done better had someone else been pitching for the Giants yesterday, or that Cain may not have done quite as good if someone else was pitching for the Padres, which is obviously not accurate.
Cain has the Padres number all year.

Brian Giles with a two-run single, Todd Walker with an RBI double, Padres lead 3-0, suck it Matt Morris!
Russell Branyan! RBI single! 4-0 Padres.
Woody 2-for-2 at the plate with a single and a double!
He needs a triple and a homerun for the cycle (in order), nice.
Giles with another RBI baby, the almighty sac fly. 5-0 Pads.
Avoid the sweep!
Woody with an RBI single! 3-for-3 night at the plate for the Woodster. 6-0 Padres.
That chases Matt Morris from the game, replaced by Jack Taschner. Bout time, if you can't get the opposing pitcher out even once, then you're not really doing good.
And the Padres avoid the sweep with a 10-2 victory

Why the Giants can't hit Woody I will never know but he did it again!
So much for making the Bay area bleed...we're just lucky no to have been swept again by SF.... it's amazing what happens when we hit the ball.....we win....I know crazy concept
Glad to be done with San Fran.
