They come back in the end to take the win and the series. If you ask me, we needed this win.
LOL........we need every win .....sheesh
But we really really needed this win, especially with the Dodgers becoming "the Contender of the week".Originally Posted by padrefanforever

what we really need is to win every game from here on out, including the playoffs.

I'll stick with a nice little streak, seems realistic and feesable
Even though its a bit early, I believe the next series with the Mets will be a make it or break it. If we can take 2 games, I think we have the division in the bucket if you ask me.
Well I'm not holding my breath yet......we're about to play the entire NLWest....and since we haven't shown very well this year vs. the West, I would prefer to have a lead going into that mess.... Of course I would love it it we just started to beat up on the teams we should be beating up on also.......
Knowing that the Padres play better on the road than they do at home, I would think we have a good shot in this series. Remember that the Mets came to San Diego and the Padres split a 4 game series with them, that was even facing Pedro. The Padres need to jump all over Traschel tonight and win this first game.

I agree, they should jump all over Traschel tonight...but not too much. Softening him up for tomorrow's game 1 would be cool, but you don't want to beat him down so much that they just replace him.
They should jump all over Pedro and Glavine while they're at it, Beltran as well.

I dont think we're facing Glavine in this series.
jump on him anyways, we may need him weakened for the playoffs.
