Well its not Ensberg, but hey i'll take it.
Its also reporting that LA is balking away from Maddux. Sweet!
1090 is saying it's done........Walker the Padre ???
Maddux would've helped LA maintain sole possession of last place in the division.Originally Posted by Rufio181

Typical Dodgers, trading away young players for ones on their downside.Originally Posted by HollywoodLeo

Wow thats 1 trade. Plus, how's Oli been doing lately? Just got rocked in his AAA start.Originally Posted by realmofotalk

Walker the Padre bring a smile to my face
Get this, they traded a 19-year old for Walker. That's 2 trades, rufio.Originally Posted by love_that_reefer
not that i'm trying to feed into the mindset, but a 19 year old low-A pitcher with a 5.09 ERA is hardly comparable to trading Cesar Izturis.
That said, good deal for LA.

The Padres got a good ballplayer in Walker. He doesnt do anything great but does a lot of stuff well. Steal a few bases, get on base, flat out hit, underrated 2b glove, He's willing to do whatever the team needs (see moving to 1b for the cubs). Can bat 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 7th whereever the team needs him. You could certainly do worse than Todd Walker. BTW beware of him in clutch situations , theres a reason why he got the nickname Todd "Money" Walker in Cincy among the fans. Im still pissed the Reds ever traded him.
HollywoodLeo: You and Kingdom always annoy me
"Oh, don't mind me, I'm rebuilding now" then you win at least 80 games
RIP S3SL Minnesota Twins.
RIP HSL Anaheim Angels
Rebuilding the Dodger Blues
Renewed Start back in the land of 10,000 lakes
Problem is Walker hasn't DONE anything at 3rd in a decade
